The first Training of Trainers on Value Chain & Market System Development (VC& MSD) for trainers of Centers of Excellence (CoEs) took place from 5th to 9th June 2017 with the participation of 17 representatives from 7 Centers of Excellences and three representatives from IFAD Vietnam and IFAD India. After completion of the course, the participants from CoEs were expected to be equipped with sufficient knowledge and skills to become professional multiplication-trainers on VC&MSD.
Majority of participant found the 5-day hard working, enthusiastic sharing and exchanging very useful for their future work as trainers on VC&MSD. The course was also an occasion for the Network to test the new developed curriculum to make it fit to the real need of the targeted trainees.
Experiences and lessons learnt from the first ToT were valuable inputs for the Network to improve the quality of future trainings.
